The Arrowhead Tennis Center has been the proud home of the Duluth indoor tennis courts since 1972, but the time has come for a redesign. The name of the administration building has been changed and now has a new logo, new colors and a new name for the interior. where can I play pickleball
Previously the facility was based around tennis and is now home to MN North Volleyball, but with the rapid growth of MN – North the organization had to say goodbye. The facility now has a pickleball league to cater for more athletes, and there are more than 100 athletes from across the state of Minnesota and the nation who continue to train here.
In 2016, the Duluth Area Pickleball Association was founded by players from the area, said board secretary Lori Collard, and it is the first of its kind in the state.
The mission is to promote sport at all ages, develop and identify playgrounds and provide educational opportunities to improve skills. This year, the MJCCA has added clinics to help beginners learn the game and allow players to improve their skills. The Duluth Area Pickleball Association, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, has nine board members.
