Pickleball Miami has been around for about five years in South Florida, but only last year the popularity of the sport exploded in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
But the beach remains closed because it is considered the epicenter of Florida’s coronavirus outbreak, in which 60 percent of cases have been confirmed.
The game attracts new players and strengthens the love of experienced players for the game.
The Miami Pickleball Padel Club has a brand new, state-of-the-art pickleball field built by Racquet Sports USA.
The court is the first of its kind in the United States and features tempered glass, LED lighting and a high-tech, high-performance, multi-purpose court system.
This brand new Padel Court will open in time for the start of programs, clinics and events in January 2020.
